ABOUT US

Founder's Vision
During my 12-years' tenure as associate medical director of the Quest Diagnostics Laboratory in Teterboro, NJ, and later as the director of the Clinical Laboratories at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Paterson, NJ, I observed laboratory services from the vendors' as well as end-user' viewpoints. While significant advances continue to be made, they still fall short of meeting customers' expectations in one vital aspect, namely; personalized service.

This is our guiding principle in establishing siParadigm. We commit to providing you with personalized total quality service. By "total service" we mean from specimen submission to billing, and by "quality" we mean exceeding your expectations Click here to see how we do it (go to page 4, the anatomy of service).

What’s in the Name?
siParadigm is the next paradigm in Service and Integrity.

  • By service we mean; exceeding your expectations throughout your diagnostic journey
  • By integrity we mean; meeting both the spirit and letter of the law

Our name embodies our philosophy and business principles. It continues to guide all our decisions in today's vexing business environment. Whenever we make any decision, whether small or large, we simply ask ourselves two questions; how can I exceed your expectations? and, how would I like siParadigm to treat me if I were the client?

The siParadigm Service and Integrity Commitment
We commit to:

  • Personalized Service: You will primarily deal with only three professionals; one primary pathologist with subspecialty expertise, one client service/billing/logistics representative, and a courier.
  • Availability: You can reach any of the above three representative anytime 24/7 on our cell phones, and can get results seven days/week (weekend and holiday service on call)
  • Diagnostic Informatics: Image-based, user and patient-friendly integrative reports with clinico-pathologic correlations and prognostic information by subspecialty board certified or fellowship-trained pathologists.
  • Accessible information: Primary and secondary physicians as well as patients can access patient reports in a secure/HIPAA-compliant internet environment.
  • Turn-around Time: Next morning final report (pathology, immunohisto-chemistry, in-situ hybridization and flow cytometry) and 48 h for cytogenetics (FISH & karyotyping) in the NY/NJ/CT metropolis (add 12 hr for overnight shipped specimens).
  • STAT Services: Same day STAT services for pathology, flow, and immunohistochemistry (following day for cytogenetics).
  • Flexible Billing: Our goal is to provide services to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. To that end, and whenever permitted by law, we accept all insurance payments as complete and do not balance bill patients except for in-network co-payments and deductibles. If you are not satisfied with your billing resolution, kindly reach the company president on his mobile phone (732) 236-5950.
